House & Gallery

Private Client, London, 2015

The complete remodeling and extension of a South London Townhouse to create both a family home and art gallery

The project involves adapting and extending a large Victorian house to create flexible and intertwined space to live, work and exhibit works of art.
The house is designed to allow it to be opened to the public as a gallery by creating flexible spaces in which to live and work, yet allow it to be used as a full time family home.

The process of constructing the house has itself been turned into an ongoing work of art, with semi-derelict spaces being used as work and exhibition spaces throughout the design and construction process.

The project is under construction and due for completion in late 2018.
